Creating a Logo with Logojoy

I’m determined that 2018 is going to be the year of the blog! Now that I’ve had a little while to get to grips with the basics of blogging, I’m really going to throw my heart and soul into all aspects of it and that means, not only do I want it to contain the best possible content but it also needs to look good too. I’m aiming to have a bit of a design overhaul in the new year, starting with redesigning my logo. When Logojoy offered me the chance to create a logo via their online tool, I was excited to discover the potential logo designs I could create and whether one would really stick out for me.

Logojoy is really easy to use. You start off by inputting the name of your company. You then get the chance to pick some designs that you already like which Logojoy will then use as inspiration in creating your logo.

Once you’ve picked some designs that you like the look of, you then pick the colours that you like and LogoJoy will use these to help craft your logo.  You can also add symbols. By typing in the word ‘baby’, I was presented with a variety of images including bottles and toys, for example. The symbols were really extensive; there were so many choices that I was really spoilt for choice.

I decided to pick a simple flower design as that’s one of the parts I like about my current logo design.

Logojoy will then generate lots of designs so you can scroll through to see which ones stand out for you.

Once you’ve chosen your design, you can then change the fonts, colours and symbols to match your requirements.

LogoJoy will then present you with images of how your logo will look on business cards, t-shirts and advertising!

Once you’re happy with your design, you can choose three different packages to purchase and once payment is made your image can be downloaded.

In the end I settled on a simple black and white design. I really like it because it looks sleek and also doesn’t stray too far from the original logo that my readers will be familiar with… I love it!

Thank you LogoJoy!

What do you think? x

  1. I had a quick look at Logojoy myself recently and I think its a great way of designing a logo on a budget which a lot of newbie bloggers, myself included, are.
I really like your sleek black and white design, black and white when done well can look so classy which I think yours does and, as you say it's not too different from your previous one so there is some continuity of branding there still.
