Making birthdays special with Moonpig!

A couple of days ago we celebrated my husband's birthday. The boys love birthdays and get really excited about them weeks in advance, making plans and thinking about which cake they would like! Anyone would think it was their birthdays! This year however has been a little different. Although things are beginning to open up again following the lockdown restrictions, some activities are still off limits such as parties and meals out with friends and family for example. I am also over forty weeks pregnant now so I am having to be extra careful due to being in a more vulnerable group. This has meant I still haven't accessed a shop since the start of lockdown. As a result, I was a little unsure of just how we could make his birthday special this year or even what gifts I could buy seeing as leisurely browsing the shops for inspiration has been off-limits.

My husband also loves whisky and so this selection of four individual blended malt whisky miniatures was right up his street! 

The Whiskies Scratch Map also made a unique and interesting gift for him. This bucket list poster featuring 100 whiskies is a great gift for any whisky enthusiast. They can scratch off each one as sampled meaning they will be a whisky connoisseur in no time!

And what birthday would be complete without a balloon? This helium balloon arrives ready-inflated so the birthday celebrations can begin straight away!

Moonpig really came to the rescue this year! Thanks to them, my husband was able to enjoy a selection of high quality fun and unique gifts which were just to his liking. He may have had to share his fudge with two cheeky boys but I'm pretty sure he had a happy day to remember!
