Throughout January and February, we were delighted to test a new nature and gardening subscription box from Mud and Bloom. The boxes are aimed for children 3-8 years of age and consist of seasonal gardening activities as well as nature crafts. Within our boxes we received seeds to plant, craft supplies, instructions for both as well as seasonal facts and information. So what did we think?
We loved our boxes, finding them both educational and enjoyable! In fact we liked them so much we signed up to receive more! I loved how it encouraged my little boy to engage in some gardening activities that we may not ordinarily have done and it also enabled him to learn some new skills too.
Within January's subscription box we were given the instructions and supplies to be able to grow our own sprouting seeds! We were also provided with the instructions and tools to grow our own avocado tree! During February we planted both basil seeds and tomato seeds and were provided with a wonderful set of acrylic paints to do some pebble paining. My little one enjoyed me reading the nature news card to him too!
