- Put two tablespoons of butter into a microwavable dish and heat for about 50 seconds.
- Add in two tablespoons of plain flour and one cup of milk.
- Whisk it together until it’s nice and smooth.
- Add in one cup of grated cheese. You may need slightly less if you like your cheese as strong as you can get, like I do!
- Stir it in and then place back in the microwave for another two minutes. Stop it every 30 seconds to give it a good stir. You’ll start to see it become thicker each time.
- That's it! Your thick and tasty cheese sauce will be ready!
